Following on from the release of their triumphant single "Lacuna" earlier this year (video below), Stockholm-based band Last Lynx have just unveiled their latest single entitled, "Curtains" - the second song taken from their forthcoming Rifts EP scheduled for release later this year, which the band made together with Lasse Mårtén (who worked with Lykke Li , Nikki & The Dove and Peter, Bjorn & John).
Fredric from Last Lynx explains; "'Curtains' is about The End. That hopeless trapped feeling of a summer daze, where you just waste good days in a bad mood. It's about break-ups and breakdowns. Pretty much like 'Lacuna', and the upcoming Rifts EP. All the songs that ended up on the EP were written in a short period of time that gave them a certain sense of connection and theme. It wasn’t something we discussed or decided on but I guess that the song writing just coincided with a period in our lives when we were going through very similar emotions and were looping the same thoughts. Curtains is the result of five peoples mindsets, feelings and creativity."
