Face+Heel - Jennifer/Jessica
Over the past few months Bristol-based duo Face+Heel, comprised of producer Luke Taylor and vocalist Sinead McMillan have continued to gain popularity throughout the blogosphere by sharing tracks from a four-song series of singles called, The Jennifer/Jessica Quartet.
First came "Black Eyes" followed by "My Medyk" then "Colonize" and now today the duo have unveiled the fourth and final song in the series, the title track, "Jennifer/Jessica" which according to the band, tells the story of a real event from Lukes childhood in west Wales of two teenage girls who became obsessed with a single mother on their council estate and repeatedly broke into her home and stole her possessions, to recreate the woman's home in their bedrooms. The song has a more nostalgic tone than usual. To create the sense of a half remembered story from childhood.
