Melbourne-based electronic/folk solo artist Rose Wintergreen, who was named Artist of the Year in the dance/electronic category at last year's Australian Independent Music Awards, as well as becoming a finalist for the prestigious Vanda and Young Songwriting Award (previously won by
Megan Washington and
Kimbra) has just released her long-awaited 8-track mini-album,
Aurora, produced by award-winning Alice Springs artist and producer
Dave Crowe and featuring collaborations with some of Australia's finest songwriters, including Charles Jenkins, Angie Hart, Jen Cloher, Clare Bowditch and Mick Thomas.
The albums' first single, "Feet In The Sand", debuted at number 5 on the Triple J Unearthed electronic chart, was featured on Hype Machine and received airplay on Triple J, Radio National and numerous other community radio stations across Australia.
