The Night VI - Too Late To Lie

Following a quite stellar 2014 of having released one great single after another, London-based six-piece The Night VI return today with their first exceptional piece of new music this year in the form of "Too Late To Lie", produced by The Night VI's own Jack Gourlay and the first track to be lifted from the band's currently untitled 6-song EP scheduled for release on September 29th via Duly Noted Records. Pre-order on vinyl/CD here. Those who pre-order the EP will get sent an MP3 version of "Too Late To Lie" immediately along with every other other song from the EP as they surface online.

Speaking on behalf of the track, The Night VI's Sophie-Rose Harper explains:

"'Too Late To Lie' was written in June 2013. It explores the struggle of suppression, when you know you feel a great deal for someone but it is a forbidden kind of love so you choose not to follow it. With nowhere to turn you bury it and in this song it explores the loneliness that comes with that. Not only do you risk losing that person and it becoming too late to conquer it but along the way it all becomes clear that it's too late to lie."

Also, by signing up to their new mailing list today fans will be granted an exclusive look into what's coming up from the six piece, and by doing so this week means you'll also get a free download of the band's Covers EP which includes their cover of Frank Ocean's "Thinkin' Bout You" which they uploaded last year along with their take on classics from Lorde, Stardust and Jeff Buckley.

Premiere via The Line of Best Fit.
