Philadelphia-raised, Nashville-based indie pop artist Carla Cappa, aka CAPPA has just unveiled the music video for her single, "Killin' It", which was was shot in downtown Nashville by Sara Kiesling. Now if you're not a frequent visitor of this blog or other like-minded music blogs who have been covering her ever since she released her infectious debut single, "Hush" earlier this year, then perhaps you might have heard "Killin' It" recently when it was featured on the season premiere of MTV's new horror series, Scream.
In regards to the video, CAPPA says:
"I wanted the video to feel like the concept in my head when I was writing the song. It's about how all my friends and I are basically making our own way in life. We're all super motivated. A lot of Nashville is like that. Everyone has big dreams and were not really letting anyone tell us no. Sometimes the music biz eludes to this image that everything is bigger than life and fancy. Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's writing a song on your keyboard and then running around a parking garage with your friends and drinking $2 beers."

CAPPA's debut EP is available now on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
Premiere via No Country For New Nashville.
