With nearly half a million subscribers and a whopping 100 million cumulative views on YouTube, up-and-coming 21-year-old New York-based singer/songwriter Ali Brustofski is looking to make her mark in the mainstream and as far as well we can tell, she's well on her way, considering her songs have been used by NBC's The Voice and in promos for Nickelodeon's iCarly, not to mention, having also opened up for Rita Ora and performed alongside The Script, Gym Class Heroes, Hot Chelle Rae, and Karmin.
Following the release of her critically acclaimed 2013 debut EP, Dream Big, which garnered a full 2-page feature in Billboard as well as an exclusive premiere of the video for the EP's first single "Green Light" on Z100 New York, with her second single, "You Are" premiering on RyanSeacrest.com, the young popstress recently made her grand return with her new single along with accompanying music video for "Stainless".
Through the haunting dance-inspired song and video, Ali wanted to convey the idea of "being in a mental state that has you mixing up memories and finding it desperately impossible to remember a time when life was easy." She continues: "It may take time to work through things, but I believe everyone can find inner peace again."
