Lucy Neville - On My Own

19-year-old Sydney-based electro-pop artist Lucy Neville has recently unveiled her debut single and video for "On My Own". The track has already garnered international attention as a top 50 finalist in the Vanda and Young Songwriting competition and serves as the lead single to to be lifted from her forthcoming 6-song debut EP, Lady, recorded in Sydney with producer Marc Malouf, who has previously worked with artists such as Sia, Kylie Minogue and Scissor Sisters. Speaking on the track, Lucy says:

"I like to let the songwriting process lead me, and surprise me along the way - you never know how inspiration will appear. Sometimes it’s writing the song on Garageband in your room, with just a guitar and your laptop microphone. Other times you put pen to paper first. I wrote ‘On My Own’ after a difficult experience, and instead of the pity party anthem I had in mind, it turned into something I thought was really special."
