Bri Clark - Assertion

Following her critically acclaimed debut single "Never Far Enough", released late last year, 22-year-old Perth-based alt-pop singer/songwriter Bri Clark returns with her powerful and emotive second single called "Assertion". Recorded at Real2reel Studio in WA's southwest, Bri worked with WAMi award winning sound engineer and producer James Newhouse (We Two Thieves, Datura4, The Novocaines), and sound engineer Lachlan Carrick (Gotye, Bertie Blackman, Lior), to produce the single.

Speaking on the track, Bri says:

"I wrote it as a bit of a reminder to myself that people aren’t going to know what you want unless you tell them, that sometimes it’s good to be brave and not worry about the consequences. We knew it (the production) needed to be dark in order to communicate the lyric. "

Bri is currently working with ARIA award winning producer Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe, Meg Mac) on her forthcoming debut EP, which is expected to drop sometime mid-2016.
