Allie X - Catch

Since Allie X first appeared online in back in early 2014, the Toronto-born, Los Angeles-based artist’s radio-ready electronic pop and bold visual style have caused waves internationally. Time magazine called "Catch" a perfect pop debut single while Pitchfork likened it to a shot of adrenaline straight to the chest. Even Princess of Pop, Katy Perry jumped on board calling "Catch" her spring jam and tweeting it to her 77 million+ followers.

Having already amassed a cult following of X's here in the US, Allie X’s first UK release is scheduled to drop on November 13th and is accompanied by a new lyric video for lead single, "Catch". The EP also includes "Prime", brand new track "Never Enough" plus a remix for "Catch" by London Producer, Kat Krazy.

Speaking on the release, Allie says:

"I am pleased to be “officially’ releasing my first body of work in the UK. The lyric video for ‘Catch’ is a direct look inside the protagonist's mind. It Xplores the revenge aspect of the lyric more so than any other visual that I have created for the song."

The ‘Catch’ EP is however just a taster of what’s to come, with more new music, paired with Allie X'’s signature style visuals, due out early next year, Allie X is a definite ‘one to watch’ for in 2016. Watch the new lyric video for "Catch", directed by Jungle George, below.
