Leeds-based alt-pop trio Actor, fronted by powerhouse vocalist Louisa Osborn along with collaborating producer Chris Mulligan and drummer Ste Anderson return today with their brand latest offering called "Uppercut", which serves as their fourth song of the year following "Feline", "Swim" and "Baby Cries". Speaking on the track, Louisa Osborn says the song "was inspired by a Billie Holiday lyric 'I’d rather be lonely than happy with somebody else'. 'Uppercut' personifies the ugly punch you unwillingly have to take when you have to give someone up." Listen to "Uppercut" below.
Premiere via Clash.
