24-year-old Philadelphia-raised, Nashville-based indie pop songstress Carla Cappa, aka CAPPA is undoubtedly one of 2015's best new artists. Having kicked off the year with her debut single, "Hush", the single quickly garnered the praise and support of 30 Hype Machine music blogs. Back in May, she released her 5-song, self-titled debut EP, which included other standout singles such as "This Is Love" and "Killin' It" (the latter was later featured in the season premiere of MTV's new horror series, Scream). Not too long afterwards she followed that up with "Other Girls" as well as a cover of TLC's iconic song "No Scrubs", which soon made its way up on to Spotify's Viral 50 chart, having already accumulated over 1 million streams to date. Today CAPPA wraps things up with her newest power pop anthem titled "Goddess", a song that further proves that CAPPA is indeed an artist you're going to want to keep a very close watch on in 2016.
Speaking on the track, CAPPA says:
"I want 'Goddess' to be for whoever is listening to it and encourage them to sing it in their car at the top of their lungs. I felt empowered writing 'Goddess,' and I hope it can make listeners feel the same way."
