Following on from last year's release of their debut EP,
The Shmixtape, Los Angeles-based Sophie and The Bom Boms, fronted by singer/songwriter Sophie Stern, who was formerly signed to
Dr. Luke's camp and spent years writing for some pretty big names, including Britney Spears (not to mention is also the daughter of a famous actor that had a huge role in
one of the best holiday movies ever) have just recently unleashed their infectious new single titled "Big Girls", which also serves as first track to be lifted from their forthcoming second EP, due out next year. The EP was produced in collaboration with
David Elevator (who won 3 Grammy's for his songwriting/production work on Beck's
Morning Phase) and
Dan Dare, whose previous credit includes Marina and the Diamonds, Charlie XCX and MIA.
