London-based singer/songwriter Christa Vi has been on our radar ever since she released her debut single "Your Heart" in 2012. Since then, she's released some pretty stellar follow-up singles as well as a few collaborations with the likes of Box Of Wolves, Ben Salter and Coupons. Today Christa Vi returns with her latest offering called "Every Time", which was produced with Andy McDonnell (Crystal Fighters, SUNS, Petite Noir) and serves as the second track following "Makeshift Happiness" to be lifted from her forthcoming debut album, also titled Makeshift Happiness, due out this summer via Tangelo Records.
Speaking on the track, Christa says:
"This song came out the sense of powerlessness and frustration you feel when you are in a relationship that you know isn't working and your boundaries keep getting pushed. It's that cyclic feeling of allowing yourself to be mistreated and undermined but you remain in stasis. It's a hapless lament."
