Sara Hartman - Two Feet Off The Ground

Originally hailing from Sag Harbor, a small village located in Suffolk County, New York but now based in Berlin, 20-year-old singer/songwriter Sara Hartman first emerged onto scene back in early November with the release of her debut single, "Monster Lead Me Home", which has so far reached nearly 10 million streams across streaming platforms, with Spotify making her one of their Spotlight for 2016 artists as well as garnering support from tastemaker blogs such as Disco Naïveté, HillyDilly and Pigeons & Planes. Beyond that, Ellie Goulding also invited her to play the European stretch of her Delirium World Tour. Now, ahead of her upcoming US tour supporting X Ambassadors as well as handful of performances at this year's SXSW Music Festival taking place next week (see dates below), Sara has today unveiled her brilliant second original single, "Two Feet Off The Ground".

Speaking on the track, Sara explains:

"'Two feet off the Ground' is a don’t think, just follow your instincts kind of tune. I read an old saying in a book about Weimar Berlin, that there was something in the air in this city that made you want to dance. I was living alone in Berlin at the time and on days when I was lonely or overwhelmed I would go for walks. I love walking through berlin. It seems like no matter how much you walk around an area, there is always something you didnt see the first time you were there. I would roll a little joint and go quietly observe this new and untamed place i had landed in. I felt like i was right at the center of it but also strangely disconnected, mostly I was inspired."
