Jerry Williams - Mother

After releasing her 4-song EP, Cold Beer back in August of last year, which featured the EP's standout title track plus her criticially acclaimed single, "Boy Oh Boy", 19-year-old Portsmouth-based singer/songwriter Jerry Williams returns with yet another brilliantly crafted indie pop gem titled "Mother" that'll no doubt be stuck in your head for days and days. According to Record of the Day, Jerry has been in the studio working with longtime collaborator Dan Brown as well as Dan Carey (Rae Morris, Kate Tempest, Bat For Lashes), Nick Atkinson (Gabrielle Aplin) and Charles Watson from Slow Club (a band that she has previously stated as one of her biggest musical inspirations) so expect to hear a lot more new music from her in the months ahead. In the meantime though, listen to "Mother" below.

Jerry Williams's Cold Beer EP is available now on iTunes.

Premiere via Clash.
