26-year-old New York City-based alt-pop songstress Kelsey Byrne, aka VÉRITÉ is back today with her new single, "Gesture", which was produced by
Peter Thomas (Betty Who, Selena Gomez and Hilary Duff) and Jay Vice (Victoria Justice, Hoodie Allen) and also serves as the third track following "
Underdressed" and "
Constant Crush" to be lifted from her forthcoming
Living EP, due out on May 6th.
Speaking on the track, VÉRITÉ says:
"
'Gesture' was about making it uncomfortably exposed from the production to the lyrics and vocals. Conceptually, it follows the same formula as the rest of the tracks on the EP; taking a single moment and magnifying, dissecting and overanalyzing it."
