Lavachild - Kandy

Having first came to our attention with her debut single "Want U To" that came out back in 2014 on Neon Gold, Lavachild, otherwise known as the solo ethereal pop project of Brooklyn-based (via Vancouver) singer and songwriter Chantel Marie, now returns with her new single entitled "Kandy", which also serves as the title track to her upcoming EP, due out later this spring / early summer.

Speaking on the track, Chantel says:

"'Kandy' is basically about greed and lost perspective - my own or those I know, not as a commentary. The inspirations were belle epoque era fantasies and renaissance, but in a twisted, more cartoonish portrayal. The tone of the song is coy, soft, heavenly, impish, pouty, taunting."
