London-based duo Cherryade come bursting onto the scene today with their debut single called "Fractured Fairytales". Recalling the spiky, colourful, synth-heavy, sounds of early M.I.A., these London newcomers are out to make a defiant point. Forging a name for themselves on sheer attitude, style and braggadocio, "Fractured Fairytales" is a battle cry against social norms and expectations. The refreshingly slick, unapologetic track was written by the duo themselves and produced by Shaun Canning (of Atom Tree). They’ve also been working with Dimitri Tikovoi (Charli XCX, MNEK), Lewis Gardiner (PRIDES, KLOE) and Ian Watt (GIRLI) on their upcoming EP, due later this year. If "Fractured Fairytales" and it's fluent mix of real charisma and jagged danceablility is anything to go by, Cherryade are no doubt going to be among one of the brightest new acts to watch this year.
