After having released her previous single, "Sweetheart" back in early February, 22-year-old Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and former Goldroom collaborator Ren Farren is back with her latest single called "The Comedown". One again teaming up with producer Brian Robert Jones, "The Comedown" starts slow before erupting into an infectious and no doubt radio-friendly pop ballad. Having already been compared to the likes of Carly Rae Jepsen and Taylor Swift, Ren Farren is certainly a new force to be reckoned with in the pop world.
Speaking on the track, Ren says:
"'The Comedown' is a song that was born out of the desire to do something different from what I normally do. Like most artists, I tend to write from a very emotional place, and a lot of my songs are about the end of things - whether it's a kind of goodbye to love or to adolescence or to a certain version of myself."
