After having delivered her hazy and wistful ballad "Bad Love" earlier this year, which received positive praise from a vast majority of tastemaking music blogs, Bournemouth-based singer/songwriter Jazz Morley returns today with the unveiling of her eagerly-awaited follow-up single entitled "Take Me Down". Once again collaborating with producer Draper, "Take Me Down" is another slice of emotive downtempo indie pop. The track is about the struggle to overcome jealousy, exploring the contradiction of desiring to be more like another and the adamance that you can rise above it.
Speaking on the track, Jazz says:
"I feel like it marks the progression of my career and the beginning of even better things to come. I'm hugely proud to have created something which feels powerful and positive, especially in these uncertain times."
Listen to "Take Me Down" below.
"Take Me Down" will be released on July 15th.
