Having been described as the lovechild of George Michael and Katy Perry, electro-pop duo Lovestarrs, comprised Sarah McIntosh (vocals) and her brother Hamish (bass and synths) have just unveiled the music video for their infectious new single, "Somebody Like You", which also serves as the latest single to lifted from the much-anticipated debut album, Planet Lovestarr, due out later this year. Complete with optical illusions and bags of confetti, the vibrant and colourful video captures the band's softer and more tongue-in-cheek side as the siblings dance around to a number of pastel backdrops, coinciding perfectly with the playful new song.
Speaking on the track, Sarah says:
"'Somebody Like You' is about falling for your best friend, who is unfortunately taken. On one hand, you are happy that your friend has found love, but on the other, you are bitterly sad it's not with you. It's about wanting to find somebody who has all of their qualities."
