Following the release of her widely-acclaimed debut single, "Lemons & Limes" as well as her recent collaboration with longtime-hero-turned-collaborator Tricky on "Running Wild", South East London-based artist Mina Rose is back with her second solo offering called "Kingdom, a darker but no less vivid cut of multicultural pop which effortlessly blends together elements of trip-hop, dub and hip-hop. Inspired by the dreamy textures of Massive Attack, "Kingdom", in Mina's own words is based on "this idea that we are all looking at each others' lives and comparing them to our own, instead of realising the true wealth and rarity of your own experiences and possessions." She goes on to say, "I want to focus on building a kingdom of your own, rather than wishing to own someone else's." Both "Kingdom" and "Lemons & Limes" will form the backbone of Mina's debut EP, which is expected to drop later this year.
