Following last year's release of her critically acclaimed debut album,
Buzzed, which featured her hit single, "
Paradise" that is currently on rotation with both Pandora and Sirius XM with Kid Kelly, South African-born, Los Angeles-based avant-garde pop singer/songwriter and model Binx (also known as "The African Bee") has today released her brand new single called "Shockwaves", an uptempo pop gem that produced in collaboration with Mokita.
Speaking on the track, Binx says:
"
'Shock Waves' is about Digit Dating in a modern world. Trying to decipher someone's personality and heart through text and emoji's before deciding if you like them or if you will end up meeting them. The song is a response about how we shop for our partners online in this day and age."
