Splitting her time traveling back and forth between homes in both Hong Kong and New York City, singer/songwriter and producer Kiri T has today unveiled her first offering of 2019 called "IDontBelieveInClosures", which also serves as the lead single to be taken from her forthcoming debut album titled
Golden Kiri, due out later this year. Written by Kiri T and produced and arranged by longtime collaborator
HIRSK with co-production courtesy of Matthew Sim at
Germano Studios in New York, "IDontBelieveInClosures" is a electronic R&B infused slow jam. Autobiographical in nature, the song observes the cringe-worthy realities of relationships and decisions that Kiri T has made in her romantic life that were subconsciously dictated by her own sense of inferiority with her identity, race and upbringing.
