Lo Lo - Sweater Collection

Having deligheted us last year with impeccable pop gems like "Yours" and "Convenient", Toronto-based singer/songwriter Lauren Mandel, aka Lo Lo returns today with her first offering of 2019 called "Sweater Collection", which arrives in anticipation of her forthcoming debut EP. "Sweater Collection" is a masterfully crafted pop hit with staccato drums and a hook that sticks with you long after your first listen. Lo Lo adds her melodic vocals to tell the stories behind each of her accumulated sweaters that once belonged to her ex-boyfriends.

Speaking on the track, Lo Lo says:

"Dating sucks. 'Sweater Collection' is about trying and failing to find a connection with someone, over and over again. Sometimes it's your fault, sometimes it's their fault–sometimes it just doesn't work out and there's nothing you can do about it. After a while playing the dating game, I realized I had acquired quite a 'sweater collection.' I figured, I can't be the only one? So I wrote a song about it."
