Mara Duke - Who Is This Girl

Australian songstress Mara Duke has recently shared her new single called "Who Is This Girl", along with its accompanying music video, directed by Ben Draisma and Sissy Reyes. The moody pop banger is about identity and understanding, its about having the courage to free yourself from an identity that other people have constructed around you and permitting yourself to be who you really are. The song doesn't try to solve any problems but rather points out that sometimes nothing can be done and the best thing to do is to accept and move on. "Who Is This Girl" was recorded at The Song Boutique, a Sydney production studio owned and operated by producer Zak Pap. Zak produced the track alongside Mara Duke and co-writer Helena Bozic, who also all happen to be family members.

Speaking on the track, Mara says:

"'Humanity is vicious, listen' was the first lyric I wrote and it encapsulates this idea that while most of us try to lead reasonably morally good lives. Humans are terrible listeners and sometimes nasty AF."
