Where three is the magic number by Hip Hop standards, Kraak & Smaak have proven no exception. Hot off the heels of one of their most prolific years to date, the Leiden trio return to THIS IS Recordings to follow-up 2012’s remix duties for Sander Kleinenberg’s "Chemically" with their latest aptly titled original "Hit The Club".
Having led their inauguration to the label with high quality over mindless quantity, their ability to build strong moments in sound without bowing to popular convention is further apparent in their first release of the new year. Led by scattered melodic developments and slow grooving beats throughout, "Hit The Club" employs hypnotic vocal builds to forge a landmark installment for the fast rising retro advocates.
