Misty Mtn - Woah, I'm Older

Los Angeles-based indie-pop duo Misty Mtn, comprised of vocalist Morissa Trunzo and producer Lucas Segall, have today surprised fans with their new single called "Woah, I'm Older", a day ahead of the single's initital release date. Having released their debut EP, Missed Your Call earlier this year along with their follow-up single, "Running out of Patience", back in mid-October, "Woah, I'm Older" serves as the duo's final release of 2019 with lots more new music still to come next year. The song deals with looking back on the not-so-distant past and how seriously you took things, and how insignificant they seem now, and how funny that is. A claustrophobic verse opens up into an anthemic sing-along chorus, but the payoff really only comes halfway through as the line "now I'm laughing at my…" is finally completed.

Speaking on the track, the duo shares:

"It's a good one to lead us into this end-of-year season that has us encountering relics of our high school days over Thanksgiving break, planning our New Years' resolutions and figuring out what kind of people we are going to be in 2020. Nostalgia man…"
