French Horn Rebellion (feat. Ghost Beach) - Caaalifornia
Brooklyn-based via Milwaukee brother duo French Horn Rebellion comprised of Robert and David Perlick-Molinari have just shared their new single, "Caaalifornia" featuring guest vocals from fellow New York duo Ghost Beach. An EP will be released on October 22nd via the duo's own imprint, French Horn Rebellion Records along with remixes by Solidisco, Quinten 909 and The Soundmen.
French Horn Rebellion writes: "California: land of tan and healthy people, where the weather's always perfect and the beaches are always warm. We all know someone who ventured westward looking for sunshine and waves, fulfilling their own manifest destiny. Growing up in the Midwest it seemed like a magical far-off land we only saw on television or in the movies-- glitz, glamour and palm trees in So-Cal, Danny Tanner and trolley cars in No-Cal.
As we head into another winter we look West, remembering our past summer and longing for California's eternal one. In our Next Jack Swing style, and featuring the vocals of Ghost Beach, the song's story is about friends of ours who moved to the Golden State, and how much we miss them. When you download this track, we encourage you to send it to a friend of yours in Caaalifornia that you miss."
