Back Back Forward Punch - Solid Gold

Following a series of fantastic singles, specifically "Emergency Bow Tie", released earlier this year, as well as their 2013 singles "Don't Stop Now" and "Zero to Disco", Melbourne-based electronic duo Back Back Forward Punch, comprised of Laura Boland (vocals and percussion) and Andy Liddell (keys and production) return today with their uplifting and inspiring new single entitled "Solid Gold", which is indeed a solid gold masterpiece.

"Solid Gold" sees Laura Boland employ delicate and haunting vocals to tell their story of unraveling perceptions, coming of age, and ultimately revealing that we are all imperfect heroes to someone for a short time. All the while, Andy Liddell captivates us with his dynamic and intricately layered production, as he gracefully shapes the track with pulsing bass lines, manipulated vocal cuts and warbling keys, ultimately delivering a majestic track that blurs the lines between pop, trip-hop and soul.

Stay tuned as Back Back Forward Punch will soon be revealing an accompanying music video for the single within in the coming weeks, produced and directed by Jimmy Ennett, who also directed the video for SAFIA's newest single "Paranoia, Ghosts & Other Sounds".

In addition, Back Back Forward Punch will also be releasing a remix package for "Solid Gold" which will include remixes from Brisbane's cln and Canadian producer Pat Lok.
