Melbourne-based electronic folk artist Rose Wintergreen who was recently named Artist of the Year at the Australian Independent Music Awards as well as becoming a finalist for the prestigious Vanda and Young Songwriting Award (previously won by Megan Washington and Kimbra) for her 2013 single "Feet In The Sand" has just unveiled the music video for her breathtaking new single "This City", beautifully filmed by Taylored Productions and the second single taken from her highly anticipated forthcoming sophomore album Aurora scheduled for release on August 28th.
In regards to the single, Rose explains:
"This City portrays a woman’s struggle to stay true to herself and preserve her sanity while dealing with immense grief amidst the cold impersonality of a big city."
Produced by award-winning Alice Springs artist and producer Dave Crowe, Rose Wintergreen's second album, Aurora will showcase an eclectic array of material refined in collaboration with some of Australia's finest songwriters, including Charles Jenkins, Angie Hart, Jen Cloher, Clare Bowditch and Mick Thomas.
