Emerging East London-based alt-pop singer/songwriter Samantha Harper, otherwise known mononymously as Harper has recently unveiled the music video for her new single "Velvet", directed by
Ben Newbury, who also directed the videos for Ellie Goulding's "
Beating Heart" and Laurel's "
To The Hill", not to mention videos for UNKLE, Racing Glaciers and Dan Croll. "Velvet" is the title track off her forthcoming 4-song debut EP, which she produced herself along with
ICU Label boss Elliott Govinden and the songwriter/production team,
Eagle Eye, whose past credit also include artists such as Little Mix, Conor Maynard and Pixie Lott.
Harper's
Velvet EP will be available as a free download on October 27th. In the meantime, you can stream the EP in its entirety via Harper's
