Prague-based newcomer Petr Pliska, aka Pink Gloves has just released his second single ever called "80s Girls". The single is the follow-up to his debut track "Fading Stars" released this past September and was inspired by the garish dress worn by Molly Ringwald in John Hughes' 1986 teen drama Pretty in Pink, along with other movies by the filmmaker that took a part of his childhood. Pink Gloves says, ‟As a child I was in love with the girls from these films." He goes on to add in a post made on his own music blog, which just celebrated it's tenth year anniversary earlier this month. "My second single is dedicated to American director and screenwriter John Hughs and his films such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink, which is indelible mark in American pop culture eighties."
