London-based six piece The Night VI have today shared their brand new song called "Turn Your Light On Me", which serves as the second track following "Too Late To Lie" to be taken from their yet-to-be-named third EP due out this September via Duly Noted Records.
"Turn Your Light On Me"is a duet between lead singer Sophie-Rose Harper and vocalist/keys player Kristy Marie Buglass. It's a moment in which two women realize they are in love with the same man and they're faced with each other for the first time.
Speaking more on the track, Harper explains:
"When I first met my ex, I was so into him that there were times I would feel abnormally paranoid and slightly possessed, therefore creating this scenario in my head. The heart can make you crazy, so Jack and I wrote about a love triangle. Two women in love with the same man and the conversation they have. We were definitely going for a vocal take where Kristy and I wanted to sound like one voice, Abba style. It can mess with the listeners head."
Stream both "Turn Your Light On Me" and "Too Late To Lie" below.
