Influenced by Annie Lennox, early Madonna, Cocteau Twins and Kate Bush, 22 year-old London-based singer/songwriter known simply as Aaron writes classic pop songs with an alternative electronic sound wherein synthpop meets eighties R&B. Today, Aaron has released her long-awaited debut EP titled Letters To Jonny, which is available now as a name-your-price download on Bandcamp.
For the past two years, Aaron has been honing her craft and working with the likes of Corey Chorus (Rihanna), Brey (Jessie Ware), Alex Oriet (Iggy Azalea) and MNEK meanwhile writing for other artists such as Ed Thomas, Arlissa and Dante.
For her debut EP, Aaron collaborated with some of the industry’s brightest upcoming writers and producers such as Mark Tieku, aka Tieks who has previously written and produced for Florence + The Machine, The XX and remixed Rudimental, Toby Davies who has worked with Alex Clare, Sinead Harnett and George the Poet, Niall Lavelle who was recently signed to Raffertie's Super Recordings label under the moniker Fallen and Brey who released his debut EP, Brasil in 2012 and co-wrote "Running" which was featured on Jessie Ware's debut album Devotion.
