Following on from last month's release of her previous single, "Cruel Intentions", half-French, half-Australian London-based songstress Chløë Black makes a welcome return today with her latest offering entitled "Professional", produced by Ian Barter (Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith). In regards to the single, Chløë says:
"This song was heavily inspired by Luc Besson’s 90's film Léon starring Natalie Portman, Jean Reno and Gary Oldman. In the bridge I recite some of the script in French. Like the films lead protagonist Mathilda I too have been fatalistically romantic from a young age.".
Listen to "Professional" below.
Chløë Black's forthcoming debut EP, 27 Club is scheduled for release on April 26th and is available now for pre-order on iTunes.
Premiere via The Beat.
