Nina K - Impossible

Having previously collaborated with artists such as Tomas Barfod, WhoMadeWho and Nadastrom, Swedish pop artist Nina K (aka, Nina Kinert) has recently shared her new single, "Impossible", which acts as her first solo single in five years and the follow-up to her last album, Red Leader Dream (released in 2010). Inspired by divas from her 80's & 90's (ie: Mariah Carey, Sade and Enya), "Impossible" is about the difficulty of growing up without letting go of the diva-dream. The single was co-produced by Daniel Fagge Fagerstrom (Optic Nest, The Skull Defects) and mixed by Alex 'Lexxx' Dromgoole (Björk, Jessie Ware, Angel Haze, Fatima Al Qadiri).

Today, Nina K has unveiled the single's accompany music video, which was shot and directed by documentary director Jacob Frössén and inspired by the classic videos for Sinead O’Connor's "Nothing Compares To You" and This Mortal Coil's "Song To The Siren".

Watch the music video for "Impossible" below and be sure to be on the lookout for Nina K's forthcoming album due out this fall.

"Impossible" is out now via Nina K's own label, Ninkina Recordings and available now on iTunes.

Premiere via Gorilla vs. Bear.
