Carmen - YAS

Even though we previously shared this track on our most recent Love At First Listen: 10 Songs You Need To Hear Right Now post, we figured we needed to give it the proper feature it so rightfully deserves. So here we go...

Following on from last year's release of her debut single, "Cold" (video below), up-and-coming Detroit-born, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and model Carmen Johnson, better known mononymously as simply just Carmen made her long-awaited return yesterday with her sassy new single called "YAS" (which stands for "You Ain't Shit"). The track was produced by Daecolm Holland and according to Josep Vinaixa's Ultimate Music, serves as another taste of her forthcoming debut EP slated to drop sometime later this year or early next year.
