Beca - Meteor

Los Angeles-based electro-pop artist Beca has recently unveiled the music video for her new single "Meteor", shot and directed by celebrity fashion photographer Angelo Kritikos. The track serves as the second single following "Bayonet" to be lifted from her forthcoming debut album, Ecliptic, produced by Morgan Wiley from Midnight Magic and scheduled for release on October 22nd via All Scene Eye. Prior to the album's release Beca will release her Meteor EP on September 14th, which will include remixes by Night Drive, Tippy Toes and Alexander Orue and more.

Speaking on the track, Beca explains:

"It's ('Meteor') about a passionate love affair that turns into a dark, devastating heartbreak. At the time, I was in love with someone who would suddenly show up out of nowhere after disappearing for awhile, and it was very confusing. The meteor represents someone who is capable of bringing out the entire spectrum of emotions both the best and the worst, who can create and destroy. The song examines what happens when we ignore our deeper instincts."
