Gayana - Kingdom

Following on from the release of their 2013 debut album Reborn, Moscow-based band Gayana, fronted by singer/songwriter Gayana Boytsova, return to bring their sophisticated 80s-inspired, contemporary pop sound to new audiences around the world by presenting us with their second studio album titled Kingdom, an album which references the golden era of music made popular by artists such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan and Phil Collins. At the same time, Kingdom is not simply a retro, nostalgia trip - the album sits perfectly in the contemporary landscape of 2016. It is edgy, dynamic and fresh.
