After having unveiled her debut single "Sand" earlier this month, which garnered across-the-board support from like-minded music blogs such as The Autumn Roses, Going Solo and PressPlay OK, Bologna-based indie pop singer/songwriter Emanuela Drei, aka GIUNGLA (which means 'jungle' in Italian) now returns to present us with yet another gripping new single entitled "Forest", a gritty electro-pop gem with mechanical production à la Grimes fused with a punk rock friendly melody echoing Peaches. "Forest" will appear on GIUNGLA's forthcoming 4-song debut EP, Camo, due out on May 20th via Factory Flaws.
Speaking on the track, Emanuela says:
"'Forest' is about a recurring dream. It's dedicated to a very important person of my family who suffers from a serious mental illness, who's stuck seeing things that don't exist, feeling haunted and living in some sort of constant fear."
