Describing herself as the Hannah Montana of the rap game, emerging 17-year-old Brisbane-based newcomer Mallrat, who was recently named by Triple J as one of their Top 10 Unearthed Discoveries of 2016 (So Far), has just shared her rather playful and snappy new tune called "For Real". Sounding somewhat reminiscent of Alright, Still-era Lily Allen, the track was produced by Tigerilla and Casper Zazz and also serves as the latest single following "Inside Voices", "Sunglasses" and "Suicide Blonde" to be lifted from Mallrat's debut EP, Uninvited, which is out now in Australia but will be released sometime later this year here in US.
Speaking on the track, Mallrat says:
"’m not sure if 'For Real' is a happy song or a sad song but I hope people can attach it to some memory and decide for themselves."
