Tiggi Hawke - Hollow Talk + If You Dare

Among one of this year's most promising newcomers, London-based popstress Tiggi Hawke has just recently released her debut EP, Burn Notice, co-written and produced by Bruce Fielder, aka Sigala and Marli Harwood (Kygo, Olly Murs). With shimmering synths that are effortlessly fused together with Tiggi's brand of raw, deeply personal lyricism and the spirit of unflinching honesty, the 4-song EP perfectly showcases the young singer-songwriter's signature floaty, electronic dream-pop sound. Featuring her two previously released singles, "In The Wild" and "Burn Notice" which sits comfortably alongside two brand new tracks, "Hollow Talk" and "If You Dare"’, the former is a formidable display of Tiggi's darker, direct side as she warns, “I can be the devil in disguise boy, lie to me I’ll you down in size”" over cutting strings and a smattering of clap-back snares. "If You Dare", meanwhile, finds Tiggi commandeering a tsunami-level chorus of epic proportions. Mastering gloriously colourful pop music, Tiggi's ability to nail a feeling, to crystallize a sense of drama has drawn early comparisons to Taylor Swift, or even Ellie Goulding. Bold, brash pop music of an electronic hue, there's a lyrical complexity at work that hints at a literary past. As a key component of the creative community that has settled in North London's Tileyard area – think Ella Eyre, JONES, Chase & Status, Mark Ronson and Basement Jaxx, the Burn Notice EP is a glowing statement of intent from your new favorite pop star.
