Introducing courtship., a brand new new Los Angeles-based duo comprised of Eli Hirsch (DREAMERS, Ethan Burns) and Micah Gordon (Tobias Jesso Jr.). Two talented songwriters in their own right, the pair fist met while playing together in Bloodboy. Within 3 weeks of knowing each other, they had already started a project. On paper though, they don't make much sense. Eli grew up in Portland OR, playing in indie rock bands since he was 13, while Micah grew up near the beach in LA and is a trained jazz pianist. But somehow, it worked. Both inspired by artists like MGMT, Passion Pit, Starfucker and Stevie Wonder, Eli and Micah write and produce everything in Micah's bedroom by the ocean.

Today, the pair have released their debut single entitled "Stop For Nothing", a hybrid of synthpop meets indie rock, it's ebullient and buoyant in its optimism while soft backing instrumentals and glossy vocals segue into the surging, exuberant chorus - one that you just can't help but sing along to.
