Having first met at the prestigious Yale University as Math and Physics majors, ambient-electronic/R&B duo Opia, comprised of Jacob Reske and Cole Citrenbaum made quite a first impression on us (among
many others) earlier this year with their debut single, "
Falling", which instantly became a viral hit, rocketing to the top of the Spotify, Hype Machine, and SoundCloud charts. Now having recently relocated to Los Angeles to finish recording their upcoming project, the pair have today unleashed their third-ever single called "YDU", which stands for "You Don't Understand". The track was written and recorded all around the country. While working on the song, the pair collected samples from close friends, including samples of homemade Thai instruments as well as a vocal sample from their friends in Nashville duo
