Liyv - You're Not Going to Ruin My Life

It's appears that 19-year-old Seattle-based dreampop artist Olivia Paige Holman, aka Liyv is simply unstoppable and thankfully so because her new single, "You're Not Going to Ruin My Life" is an lush and upbeat electronic pop delight from start to finish and hands down the best track we're heard from her all year.

To accompany the track, Liyv has shared this message:
"You fall in love with the idea of a person.

You don't know the substance of them because they’re guarded and calculating. But this makes them all the more intriguing.

You live for their text messages and collect memories together to relive over and over again. You change your relationship status on facebook.

But eventually, their walls come down. They're boring. They're abusive. They lash out at you. They criticize everything about you. Whenever you're together, you wish you were somewhere else.

So you call if off.

But this only makes them want you more. Your phone hums constantly - they're calling you, they're messaging you. They slip "babe" into every other sentence. They’re charming. They pick their words carefully.

But you don't feel anything. You're enveloped in your own self-love.

You're Not Going to Ruin My Life.
"
