Originally from Norway and the UK but now based in San Francisco, electronic pop duo Ohlayindigo, comrpised of singer/songwriter Hanna Ponth and drummer Zak Shrapnel, have today unveiled their vibrant and bouncy, synth-infused banger called "AWOL", which was produced by
Boxxes and serves as the second track following "
Lullaby" (also produced by Boxxes) to be lifted from their 6-song debut EP,
Phases, due out tomorrow (August 19th) via
Crescent Heights Records.
Speaking on the track, the duo says:
"
'AWOL' is about communication and trust. It reflects on how, in the long run, it is important to find your own independence in a relationship and it highlights the importance of finding new ways to love each other in the different phases of life."
