Los Angeles-based duo Oyster Kids make a welcome today with their third-ever single called "Gum (Everybody's My Friend)", an easy to chew indie pop anthem for those who don't quite fit in. The track follows previously released gems, "Lips" and "Creepy", both of which have accumulated hundreds of thousands of plays between them and earned the duo widespread acclaim from top industry tastemakers. Needless to say, it won't be long before "Gum (Everybody's My Friend)" blows up the blogosphere too.
Speaking on the track, the duo says:
"'Gum' was inspired by Los Angeles. Living here, we're constantly surrounded by pressures to fit in - It's very easy to get caught up in it all. ‘Gum’ is our summer anthem for misfits everywhere."
