Port Of Spain - Blind

Hailing from the iconic Bondi Beach, located on the outskirts of Sydney, Australia comes Port of Spain, a brand new electronic pop duo comprised of Amy Rose and Julian Ainslie - neither of whom are strangers to the music world; Amy having been on the local scene for a few years with a slew of blog features, collaborations and accolades under her belt, and Julian playing in a number of projects, as well as making videos for some of Australia’s top artists (with an ARIA award to prove it). Recently, the duo have unveiled their debut single called "Blind", a dreamy pop ballad with subtle nods to early noughties electronic music. The track has already caught the attention of the reputable Triple J - a strong indicator of the upwards trajectory of any emerging new act, plus a whole host of tastemaking music blogs.

Speaking on the track, the pair says:

"'Blind' was actually written about three years ago and originally we arranged it with just piano and harp but we felt like the lyric deserved more depth than just an acoustic vibe. The song is all about learning to let go of other people's expectations of you and how caring less instead of more is sometimes a really healthy thing."
