It was only just yesterday that we shared Swedish artist Rebecca Bergcrantz, aka Raindear's cover of Prince's "I Wanna Be Your Lover" and now today she's back to deliver her latest gem, a well-crafted, yet quirky pop anthem for anyone born before 1990 called "Party's Over", which also serves as the last single to be lifted from her debut album, Embers, out now via Vanguard Music Boulevard.
Speaking on the track, Raindear says:
"I wanted to make a quirky and poppy, but kind of sad song, about how everyone has passed 25 now. We're travelling through life and it's fast and weird, we're limping out of lost love, we visit all the seals above. We're waking up thinking that the party is over, but really it's just started."
Purchase a copy of Embers on iTunes.
Premiere via Clash.
